It isn't obvious to people 200 miles away.

Thank you Stephanie.

Hey CHUMPY, Steff  D. Racefan  posted this info at 10:35 AM on Saturday for anyone who may be interested! Like she said "Copied from the Jackson Speedway.com Website". I am betting that this was the real first official announcement posted on the "INTERNET" for Jackson this past Saturday night, and she was just bringing it over here for whomever may be interested!  ("200 miles? not my problem") Who said it was your problem anyway???  It may not have been raining for a 90-150 mile radius in any direction of Jackson. Just for an example,  what about the Fargo drivers who race Jackson or the fans from up that way? You think maybe they might want to know what is going on as early as possible? Thanks Steff and we look forward to your weekly reports.

Thanks Steph, for the timely information.

Even if your a local and Jackson gets rained out, it makes it easier to decide to head to Knoxville the sooner the information gets out.

Keep up the reporting Steph, even if it doesnt seem like it sometimes, it is appreciated...

200 miles? not my problem

Hey chucky, I'm the moderator of this board and created the website that it's associated with. I live in Forest Lake, 207.06 miles from Jackson according to Mapquest. You're not going to impress the moderator if you don't share the love with us people who live over 200 miles from Jackson. We are pretty good about letting you southwest Minnesota fans know the Cedar Lake, Owatonna, Princeton, Red Cedar and Rice Lake weather on this board. There's some big IRA, ASCS and WoO shows coming up in my neck of the woods and yes, I do want to help people who live 200 miles from here make an informed decision with gas prices so high. We have all at one time or another called a track when the weather was threatening and had the recording say "no rain yet, the weather looks good and the races are still on." Of course, you know the "rest of the story." We got to the track and it was raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock for the last couple hours.

We're just trying to keep 'em honest and help each other out here, that's all.
