They have got to get off TTs if they are going to keep slowing the cars down. TTs on a nice surface were fun back when the cars went faster than most men could drive one. Open the rules up and time trials will mean something again. The t-shirt trailers are more interesting than one car at a time a full second off a 10 year old track record .
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

As a fan...I'll take the time trials any day over Handicapping...I've seen much better racing during time trial events the past few years.

Slink, I don't think he's referring to the Grove. I'm thinking more along the lines of the new regional deal and how many Pa guys are doing it.

you are correct...the 16 TT shows are intended to lure teams that will be tempted by the allstar region deal.
the divide between the handicap mentality and being competitive against the WoO has put car counts where they are - time to ditch the old school "club" mentality for 410s and move to all TTs.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

You are right on the money/ timing the cars when it took skill instead of the best motor is exciting to watch.. Watching cars get lined up based on a few thousands of a second on dirt where the timing order can be as big a factor as a good qualifying set up and everyone is wide open for both laps isn't anything special. I miss when it was hard to do laps without lifting.

Most. If you walk around the infield a lot of teams have their shirts available. You can always order online for most teams as well.

I'm sure the other drivers are good people and hard workers....but without the 83, the eastern All-Stars will look similar to the Williams Grove point standings. Always does after the Fla swing before PA kicks off, won't get any better when they come North. Crazy, I know, since drivers that call Williams Grove their home have no idea how to get around any other track....and yes, I know, the top few in the WoO are the best in the business.

BRR, the Allstar Deal will not effect Williams Grove. It is 16 races that include Georgia, Florida, New York, New Jersey and Canada.
