Great Race! 9 in a row in that event is hard to believe.

Even though I never cheer, or am a fan of Schatz, he is a very good driver. His old man was just the same way. Going to be hard to beat him this year. He is hungrier than ever, (for wins).

I'd love to see the 2009, I think it was race with Steve and Donny. The last 5 laps were some of the best racing I've ever seen. Lucky enough to be there and be reminded why the King, is the King. Nothing against Donny, he's a heck of a racer and a real thinker - his mind must do laps while he sleeps!

Love him or hate him....watching him stay calm after slapping the car in front of him and then catching and passing Dollansky, unreal. He can drive. Impressive.

Hell of a driver, especially starting 7th and only one early caution, but even though I'm a North Dakota American, had I been there I'd probably hoped that Dollansky had held on in that last corner. Jees Louise, let someone else grab that big fat $50,000 check. I wonder what Scott Darley thinks about when looking down at all this?
Forgot one thing: thanks a million to the person who put this video together. Two great announcers who sounded like they work great together and great music in the background. How about getting us the entire race. Again, thanks pal. And thanks to dirtracer84 for posting it.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Looks like he pulled a Steve Kinser and pulled his wing back before everyone else did. Definitely makes a difference on a track that slick. It's prolly safe to say that that was the hardest of the nine wins. Great drive.

Congrats to Donny on a whale of an accomplishment in winning a WHALE of a race.
Nice to see Shane Stewart over there letting everyone know that he can race a 410 just as well as a 360.
As foreign as it usually is on this forum, I have a serious question. How do the majority of the folks "down under" feel about the invaders doing so well in the racing down there every year? I know it's got to be a thrill seeing the "big boys" compete; I used to feel that way when Jan Opperman, Doug Wolfgang, Steve Kinser and others would stop in at Midwest Speedway or Eagle Raceway, and when Jeff Gordon won at Eagle back in '90 was a forshadowing of bigger and better things for him.
Either way, it's got to be exciting to be there to witness competition like the video showed. Thanks to dirtracer84 for the link!
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

You got it right the first time, Eagle, we love seeing the best of the best, regardless of who they are, and when they can hand our guys a whoopin' a regular basis it makes it even more impressive when a local guy who races maybe 10 times a year can beat them on a good night, Garry Brazier is up there with the best we've ever had.

Your correct MIDDLEFINGER, Schatz ran the hardest compound. What helped him also was the race ran green for 34 laps, if there had been more stoppages it may have been a different result. However which ever way you look at it, it was a hell of a drive from a true champion.
As for your question Eagle, most of us down under really appreciate seeing your guys come down here and race. They are simply the best and as Steve V said when one of our own grabs a win it is so much more meritorious. One thing I will also add they are all very approachable and genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves. Shane Stewart is class act also and should have an Outlaw drive. The other Stewart, well he is just a low profile type of guy, even lent a hand in prepping the track on night 1.
