12-RACE “GENERATION NEXT” SLATE ANNOUNCED FOR 2011

The 2011 USAC “Generation Next” schedule to determine the Mopar .25 Midget National Champions reflects not only national scope but also high-profile venues which will generate unprecedented exposure for USAC’s fledgling racers.

Opening with the “Duel in the Desert” at the scenic Valley of the Sun oval in Phoenix, Ariz. March 11-13, the tour visits nine states, with one of the 12 locations in the final stages of negotiations, to be announced soon.

“Music City Mayhem” in Nashville, Tenn. is the March 25-27 venue, while the April 8-10 Eastern District Qualifier is at Salisbury, North Carolina.

The “Road Runner Rally” is next up April 29-May 1 in Albuquerque, N.M., followed by the May 6-8 Western District Qualifier at the Orange Show in San Bernardino, Calif.

The May 20-22 Midwest District Qualifier is at the Mac-O-Chee home track in West Liberty, Ohio.

June 16-18 brings the much-anticipated debut at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in Milwaukee, an event held in conjunction with the IndyCar series, as well as USAC’s Silver Crown and Mopar National Midgets.

The “Battle at the Brickyard” is renewed July 5-9 in the shadow of the famed Pagoda at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the “Little Hoosier Hundred” is August 5-7 at Newton Park in Lakeville, Ind.

The “Back to School Bash” in Kalamazoo, Mich. is planned August 19-21 and the September 23-25 “Dirt Nationals” finale is at Tony Stewart’s “Little E” in the shadow of famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

An additional June date is currently being finalized and will be announced when firm.

A driver’s best five (5) finishes will determine the 2011 “Generation Next” champions.

“It’s an exciting slate, for sure” commented USAC Developmental Racing Director James Spink. It’s great to have the diversity of tracks and locales we have involved in this Generation Next tour. Participants will have many opportunities for vacation destinations while being able to compete against talent from across the country. We’re very pleased with how the Mopar .25 Midget Series has grown in its short history and we look forward to a sensational 2011 tour.”

Where exactly is the Valley of the Sun Oval in Phoenix? Lived here a long time and never heard of it . Maybe there is a new track that I don't know about ?....also last I heard there are no race tracks operating in Alb. NM. Is this some kinda joke?

There just little guy's, don't need much of a track. That said, I know they have a real nice, and popular dirt Kart track in Albuquerque.http://newmexicokarting.com/

Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.
