the topic alone made me laugh lol.
yeah payment plan is the way to go - or better yet just call and pay it.
suprised the first few responses didn't think it - but - why would you need a lawyer for a couple of tickets? you either pay them and it goes away or you don't and run the risk of them biting you in the ass. not sure what a lawyer is going to do for you when it comes to tickets unless for some reason you want to "spread the love" with your money lol. It's tickets. pay em or set up a play to pay em. If they have already issued warrants for you - it's really not THAT big of a deal. it's not like they will trace your call and send the swat team after you lol. you just need to talk to the district/county you owe and they will work with you. after all, they just want your money.......
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

Don't know what your situation is ... if (big IF) you are worried about more points against your license ... I got a ticket for quite a bit over in a state next to Iowa and the ticket was given with a place to sign if guilty and pay the 'scheduled' fine (so much for each 5 mph over.)
I had heard to NOT sign it ...(but still pay the fine) and to use a money order (not a personal check or credit card) to pay the scheduled fine but to OVER PAY on the money order by a few bucks.
I think I made it out for like 115.00 instead of $107.50 and sent it in.
Never heard a word via mail that I hadn't plead 'guilty' nor did I get a refund.
My Iowa driving record never has shown this (even though Iowa and this state have a 'compact' to chase non payers and exchange information.)
I'd guess it was 5 to 7 years ago this happened and still nothing has shown up on my Iowa record.
Work for you or anybody else ??? don't know ... did it work for me ?? maybe .... or maybe it just got lost in cyber space... but for a lousy $7.50 bucks ... IF you are planning on paying ...think about this, it if it is a 'points' thing.
