Meeker announced on Facebook today that they are running on Friday nights next year. They also said they'll probably start about 8. I think it's a good move personally.

There will be no IMCA mods in Oklahoma next year.
USRA is currently working on the sport mod rules as we speak.

I hope they figure somethin out !!! Alot of us are currently building for next year. I would hate to get too far in and have to go a different way !!!!! I personally want simpler rules make it CHEAPER to race!!!!

Of course somebody will screw it up. It isn't racing in Oklahoma if somebody doesn't.

Word is Ada is going to run alky in E-mods also. They say it is because race gas is going to go up $2 a gallon. I don't understand we burn 6-7 gal a night that means our fuel bill will go up $14 a night. It will cost about $800 to switch over to alky that would take 57 nights to come out even.
Most sportmods are mixing race gas and pump gas so we are not using that much race gas anyhow

Don't forget the fuel pump and regulator you would have to buy. Proably might need a bigger fuel cell also and those Brasswells are 1200.00. Glad we sold our Sportmod

Who knows Nobody knows what the USRA sportmod rules are and I think Brill for some reason wants Methanol rules for his e-mod class. How can anybody commit to USRA rules when nobody knows what the hell they are

From what I understand the usra is not comin here yet. The alky deal is under consideration. You will still be able to run gas too. Maybe they will spec a carb if they do allow methonal idk. Like if you run methonal you have to run a quick fuel carb. Those are affordable and good carbs. Personally I am stayin on gas anyway. I glad he is movin to friday nights. I goin to go more I think!

Two tracks have already signed their contracts for USRA modifieds, Outlaw and Tri-State. Verbal "in" there are four tracks and there are four tracks that are "on the fence."
This is coming straight from the USRA office, for modifieds only as of now. There has been no agreement as far as USRA and the tracks concerning the sport mods - or whatever you want to call them in this state.

I just don't see how two tracks are gonna allow alcohol and go against every track in the state , sure does create a lot of un needed work for a weekend traveler like me . I heard it was due to lots of heating problems take a few min to fix the problem don't create another . Just think that wouldn't be a good idea would prob cause lots of out of town cars to go other places
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

the carb rule would be set at the 470 dollar quick fuel carb and a hundred dollar regulator so it wouldnt be much of a jump however it would suck for the weekend traveler who likes to go here and there and everywhere but in your defense shawn you were up front every time u were there so i think u could run gas against methanol and still be up front lol im not sold on the idea i know it sounds like it but im not i just want rules to be set and monitored weekly and sternly
