I was just looking through the 2011 Lucas Oil Speedway schedule and see that they scheduled the ASCS Warrior Region Winged Sprint Cars, which lends truth to the rumor that floated around all Summer that the Winged Outlaw Warriors were going to become another ASCS region.

That was announced at the WOW/ASCS show at Lucas Oil Speedway. I haven't seen any official press releases or anything. I kinda thought that was weird. A big deal was made about the Patriot Region leaving ASCS but I haven't heard much about the WOW deal. The WOW has always been a pretty strong series so I'm surprised this wasn't a bigger deal. This will be a good thing for Missouri sprint car racing. Hopefully, something will be worked out between Kevin Gundaker (Lake Ozark Speedway) and the ASCS. They are both great operations and I hate to see them racing on the same nights and having low car counts.

Exactly how will this be better for Missouri sprintcar racing? I thought WOW was doing just fine on their own. Would have done better if they would have quit co-sanctioning with ASCS.......

The only reason there was press on the Patriots leaving was due to the Patriots PR putting the info out.
