Anyone know the reason for their hood design? Those things are ugly. There has to be some performance reason.
|
The hoods are just something Willie (kasey's cousin) came up with there super sexy best looking cars out there ,in my opinion of course

17 chassis at 4750.00 approximitely 81,000 dollars if he paid for them which i doubt. Nice picture.
|
Last I heard, KK buys his chassis from Kaedings, at least the 2010 cars were. Id imagine these were purchased the same way.

Seems like freight cost from IL would be a lot cheaper than from CA....

Just a guess, but for one, I'd imagine that they were ordered through an authorized dealer (Like Kaeding), then drop shipped from the factory. I seriously doubt that there's a dealer in the country that stocks 17 chassis at once.

Not to hi jack the thread.....As much fun as he is to watch and I don't have the statistics for his crashes, it just seems to me, that Jac H. put's himself in harms way too often. Racing is challenging enough as it is, especially with open wheel cars. After doing it for as long as he has, you'd think that he'd have become more selective at threading the needle instead of at every opportunity. Often you're better to merge with the traffic instead of forcing your way in.
I think he'd have way more wins if he had just breathed the throttle or dragged the brake now and then, just sayin'
I return you to your original thread topic

I just think without Jac out there while he has some years left would be a shame if he is not given the opportunity he deserves! Yes he might take chances more then others who would rather settle for fifth, but thats not Jac he wants to win so I love the show he puts on the track and off. Jac is still in the top 10 of the most wins ever in all wins in the World Of Outlaws so what your saying maybe he should get on the brakes more and drag behind and be lucky enough to be in the top 20 most world of outlaw wins. You should appreciate him more instead of trying to put him down for putting on a great show thats Jac and you gotta love it and him!

I was not trying to put him down at all. The dude is a thrill a minute to watch.
I'm just saying to win races, you have to use some sense and take what the car will give you; take it to the limit, not over it.
Finishing third is sometimes better than ending up in a catch fence or a hospital bed.
I remember a conversation I had with Andy Hillenburg years ago. I had seen a hi lite on TV that showed him clearly getting on the brakes to avoid a collision with another car, that cost him a win.
I brought that footage I saw on TV up in the conversation.
His comment to me was; "yeah, it sucked not to win, but these cars are really expensive and you can get hurt bad and real fast, when you crash."
As long as Jac is driving, I'll keep my Alcoa stocks...

Thats why I go, is to see how much caution they can use and slam on the brakes.
Makes me mad when they let it all hang out and go for the win.
None of the good ones go for the win
