I have just posted a photo sent to me from Photographer Dave Hill of the famous black Mickow #12 sprinter driven by Mike Brooks that sat on the pole of the fogged out Knoxville Nationals in 1980 has been restored and is now on display at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Iowa. The 5th tire is the RR that was on the car when the race was finally run the next day on a very hard and dry track.. Mike will see the car for the first time this evening at the Hall of Fame.
Click here for photo which is midway down the page. http://www.heartlandmotorsports.com
Thanks!
