Hanford exceeded my expectations , and put on a heelluva show Sat. I guess Mr. Woodhouse is out of the s***house and can breathe easier now. I have only 2 complaints; 1. TK did'nt win, but Kyle showed us he's the real deal. 2. I starved to death because of long lines at the gedunk stand. It was either starve or miss the action, and starving is temporary but missing the action is forever. Next time I will bring my own food as Hanford has no FoodNazis at the gate like Perris has. I heard that the King Of The West has scheduled 6 races between Hanford and Tulare. If this is true I'll be burning up The Grapevine for every one. Hope they schedule the USAC 360's with these shows as they put on a great show Sat.
SeeYa at the Trophy Cup!
Posted this on the NorCal board. 410 Wings Rule but 80 360 wings at the Trophy Cup will be awesome!

Do me a favor and please don't share your Norcal Message Board postings. There I feel better...

Well I would rather please a promoter than worry about pissing off some grumpy old men. Promoters make it happen. If I did'nt post wings stuff they would'nt have anything to bitch about. Having said that old Trpcrwn is a cool guy cause he gives me a hard time.

The fact Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway hit a home-run, whether it was with or without wings or even DLMs only means good things in the future. For me and many old friends I ran into it was like a reunion. We had all written the place off.
I think news of any race track being brought back from the brink is news worthy of posting on any board.
Geez, I had fun.

I meant no disrespect for Kings, but only the tiresome postings of the original poster and his raves about winged racing on a traditional sprint car message board. Glad to hear that the King's show was a success and hope that the promoter can schedule USAC/CRA there next year. There, I feel better again...

I can see what you mean. My cynacism was at an all time high at the start of this year. Then Kearns turns Santa Maria around and the new staff at Kings steps up. From the outside looking in, it appears success was in no small part due to the support of the USAC 360s. I was just happy (as I'm sure the OP was) to see wall to wall bodies in the seats. Outside of Tulare, things really did suck here in the Valley.
I'm looking forward to USAC/CRA at Kings as well.

With Chris Kearns promoting the West Coast 360s at Santa Maria and other Central California tracks and the return to glory of Kings coupled with the Thunder Bowl - next year looks promising for you.

Thanks everyone! We will do our best to make you proud. I know this track means a lot to a lot of people. That makes our job a little easier.
Don Chambers and Myself will work hard this offseason. And we will have some news real soon on more eciting things at Giant Chevrolet Kings!!!!
