Fifty-seven sprint cars counting the 410s, VRA 360s running with them, and VRA Senior 360s running separately. Gary Howard runaway in the Senior main, of course.
Kruser (in a brand new Lucas Oil Eagle) taught school in his heat and chased early leader Josh Ford in the A Main for a time, then seemed to be in command even though he and Tony exchanged positions in the 20s with Spencer right behind them. The leaders were running in the :12.50s.
Gasman Richard flew in from Silver City, NM, to be "grand marshall," and was prominently featured at the microphone. Brian Camarillo won his heat in his 360. Tough luck for Rickie Gaunt in his #66 410.

I watched the races on the Internet last evening. Best show I've seen all year.
It is great to see the 'young guns' doing so well, esp. the 360s against the 410s (yes, Wakim, you're still a young gun in your own rights). Mr. Naylor and all the sponsors, car owners/builders and, of course, the drivers have contributed to provide some of the best weekend racing in the country. Keep it up!
Need to get a national sports network interested in shows like this in the future. The return on the ESPN Thunder series would be a pleasure.

I agree....except for the Senior race....Cliff Warren gave Gary a real run for the money,,Howard had to pull some 'magic out of the bag' to get this win...'The Legend' may be still alive and well...but Warren made him prove it!

Why was the first thing out of Cory's mouth a complaint about drivers not getting out of his way? Oh, sorry didn't know it was you.
