Just a few corrections on times and info for this weekend at Ventura:
Pits will open at 11:30AM, Driver's meeting at 3:00PM, On track for Warm-Ups at 3:30PM
Qualifying at 5:00PM

Because this race is the "WAGSDASH" Race we normally open up the front gate at 12, let fans in to the concession area to enjoy the festivities and then sweep everyone out of the concession area/stands a little before 3 so they can purchase tickets. Racing will start shortly after qualifications with our Senior Sprint Heats followed by the USAC/CRA heats

I was in the process of throwing my old chassis together just to be able to make this weekend, but My USAC Legal Mufflers are not allowed at this USAC Race. Is this a USAC sanctioned race? This is frustrating. If anyone has a set to rent of these 180 mufflers to clamp onto my headers, let me know immediately, otherwise, i'll turn my attention/$ back to repairing the Maxim. I can't afford to spend that $ on a special muffler for 1 race. Sorry, Ken, I won't be able to compete.

Its a Ventura rule that I believe has allowed the racing to continue. I feel your pain but also understand the muffler rule for Ventura.

Good News. Toby Sampson is clipping my Maxim, & he just hooked me up with Verne Sweeney to borrow his set of SpinTech 180 mufflers. So, see you all at the Wagsdash, after all.
