With the 2010 World of Outlaw season drawing near conclusion and the tightest points race going down to the very last race in Charlotte and with all the rumors we've already heard about drivers dropping off the circuit and some coming back fulltime, who does everyone expect to be racing full time with them in 2011?? Here is a list of drivers I think will be contending for the championship next year and some based on what rumors Ive heard.....
Schatz- will be back will TSR in 2011
Steve Kinser-back with TSR in 2011
Kraig Kinser- with Casey General Stores coming onboard with SKR, adding a corporate sponsor is huge...still needs a new pit crew in my opinion to get back being competitive.
Saldana- who will KKR have as sponsor on Joey's car next year? We've heard rumors of a energy drink coming on board(Red Bull?), a tractor company(John Deere maybe? or a light beer company rumored(no clue)? Joey will still be a handfull no matter who is sponsor racing for Kasey.
Cody Darrah- will come back and drive the 91 car(maybe new number?) next year. Really, really sad to see Paul leave this team but as he stated he was just keeping the seat warm for Darrah wjile he recovered from his injuries from a car wreck back in Feb. in Florida. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE somebody give Paul a good ride for next year, This guy absolutely deserves a ride like he had this year!!
Dollansky- back with BGTS next year.
Meyers- will Jason have a new team mate for next year?
Stevie Smith-will Stevie be Jason Meyer's new team mate next year? Jason wants him to be but needs more sponsorship to come on board to have him fulltime.
Lasoski- back in his own car for a run at the WoO Championship in '11??
Jason Sides- Sides best season as a full time driver in the WoO...just keeps getting better and better!
Lucas Wolfe-Wolfe has really ran well this year but probably needs sponsors to run full time again next year.
Jac Haudenschild- will he be back with the Carnahan R19 next year?
Sam Hafertepe, Jr.- back with the WoO in 2011?? Probably so....
Chad Kemenah- with Golden Sesame Sticks coming back on board, all indications out of Chad's camp say that he will run full time again with the Outlaws but needs additional sponsors to be able to to compete night in and night out with the best.
Drivers who I think wont be back with the Outlaws in 2011...
Lutar
Gregg
Ellenberger
Drivers who might decide to run full time in 2011 and drivers who need rides...
Paul McMahan- has really filled in well for Darrah. I personally dont think Darrah could have done any better job than Paulie has running the Great Clips car for Kasey Kahne. This just shows you how good Paul is when you give him good equipment...he is Top 10 EVERY NIGHT!!! Hope Paul can find a top notch ride for next year!
Sammy Swindell- will he go fulltime with the Outlaws next year?? I'd like to see it!!
Terry McCarl- will Terry find a fulltime gig and be back with the WoO in 2011??
Daryn Pittman- have heard that he wants to contend full time again with the Outlaws...can he find a ride or sponsorship to get back in '11?
Tim Shaffer- I would LOVE to see Tim come back with the Outlaws next season in the 83...I think he could contend for the championship with the ride he's in now.
Young drivers who might decide to give in a full time go with the Outlaws in 2011...

Just curious as to whether the 6 team is merging with SKR, or is just the sponsor coming on board??
Like to see Sammy, T Mac and Tim Shaffer run full time as well.

You may see fewer team next year. Toni lutar i say is a no for next year. ellenberger was gone two months ago, do not expect him back next year. Ben gregg who knows. Danny lasoski i believe he is running a outlaw type schedule next year. It is going to be a interesting off season.

I would guess you will see Shaffer back with the outlaws. When you start to dominante like Shaffer has, it starts to get boring. Gregg I'd expect to be back. Zimmerly is a real possibility. You will probably see about just as many cars as this year.

I believe you will see less teams unless the costs can be held down , it's better to pick and chose your races , as Tim Shaffer has demonstrated

I don't see how Shaffer won't be fulltime next year with the year that he's had.
Didn't Johnny say at the Gold Cup that ZZ was going to run for ROY?
Gregg and Meyers were virtually teammates this year and Gregg's performance has shown lately from it..I'd expect him back next year.
Might be a couple other teams out there that jump up to the Outlaws like.... Tyler Walker?!

Why would Shaffer leave the All Stars when he is guarranteed $500 a night tow money plus whatever he wins. Considering he wins everything this side of Central PA. That means another $5000 a night on top of his $500. AND...with no real competition he should win another All Star Championship with ease. That's another $50,000. He'll still be able to run a bunch of WoO shows and not have the travel costs of a WoO team. Common sense people!

I would also like to see Dobmeier run full time as well. As far as Brian Brown goes, I just dont think he has the talent to run with the Outlaws consistantly night in and night out. As far as talent goes, the talent in the WoO is alot tougher now the say a few years back when Brian Brown tried to run in the Casey's car and failed miserably...just my opinion but Brian Brown just doesnt impress me much!

This would be an awesome rookie class for 2011:
- Brian Monteith
- Cody Darrah
- David Gravel
- Brian Brown
- Mark Dobmeier
- Bill Balog
- Brady Bacon
- Jonathan Allard
- Kyle Larson

I think Brown ran too many races in the 6 car several years ago to be given rookie consideration.

ALLARD would not be eligible.
He drove the WrightOneConstruction #35 for "about two years" on the full WoO schedule.

Your not going to see the Cali guy's go anywhere. Not with $5,000 to win races and $500 to start and a overall $100,000 points purse for the year for the Golden State Challenge Series of the West, plus tow money. Top it off with being on t.v. and internet and why go race back East when they are going to race 35 or so races all over the Western United States. I just don't see it happening for Larson, Allard, and a few others.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

Brown is focusing on 360's next year, not even running Knoxville weekly.
