Penalty
issued: An incident in the pit area on Saturday night during
the World of Outlaws event at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.,
resulted in penalties for one driver.Terry
McCarl was fined and penalized 75 driver points in the World of Outlaws
championship standings for conduct detrimental to the sport of sprint car
racing.McCarl is eligible to
appeal his penalty.

Concord, NC—April 25, 2007--By: Tony Veneziano,
WoO Sprint Series PR Director
This weekend, World of Outlaws drivers will have their first of two
opportunities to compete at the famed Knoxville Raceway to tune-up for the 47th
Annual Knoxville Nationals, which will take place August 8-11. The final chance
for the drivers to get dialed in at the famed half-mile will be on Saturday,
June 16th. The winner of this year’s Knoxville Nationals will
take home $150,000.
Real Racing on TV: May
13 is quickly approaching, and that is the date of the first of 12 World of
Outlaws events that will be broadcast on SPEED. The event from Eldora Speedway
on April 13 was taped for broadcast at 2 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, May 13, with
Bobby Gerould handling play-by-play duties, Brad Doty offering expert
commentary, and Sean Buckley reporting from the pit area.
Taking to the Air: Chad
Hillier will take to the air on KGGO (94.9-FM) Radio in Des Moines, Iowa on
Friday, April 27 at 8 a.m. Central with morning host Lou Sipolt. Hillier, who
is third in the battle for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award earned
his best career finish with the World of Outlaws on April 21 at Tri-State
(Ind.) Speedway, when he came home in the 12th spot in his first
ever trip to the high-banked ¼-mile.

Duel in the Dakotas: The
World of Outlaws have added an event at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North
Dakota to the 2007 schedule. The series will compete
at River Cities Speedway on June 29, as part of the Duel in the Dakota. The
following evening the series will head to Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota
to wrap up the Duel in the Dakotas. Both
events will pay $10,000-to win.

Hawker, give up on the BS Intrest and debt stuff. I sure hope you run a multi million dollar business and you are you own accountant, cuz you seem to know it all. Anyways, this thread has to do with an outlaw, so why the heck are you even reading it, you dislike the outlaws. Why dont you go get chattin on the NST threads!

That's a good point. I wonder what a driver has to do in order to be parked for a race. How many chances do you get? Ah whatever, all this did was speed up what was going to happen anyway. TMAC slidin back to around 10th in the standings. Guess he better "get used to it!"
