Fry’s Metals to Join Fauver Race Ready Rentals on May 11

On Friday night, May 11, Rod Fauver will sponsor the night of racing at Silver Dollar Speedway.  Fauver, who owns and operates Fauver Race Ready Rentals, is a talented crew chief with a vast wealth of knowledge when it comes to sprint cars.  He is on the forefront when it comes to sprint car ideas.  His Race Ready Rentals offer people the chance to rent a winged sprint car or a wingless spec sprint for a night of racing.  With his company’s affiliation with the track, the sprint car 410 winner will receive $2, 000 for the main event victory.

Also joining the night, as a sponsor, is Fry’s Metal.  Each year Fry’s Metal sponsors the night before the Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial Golden State show at Chico.  This year Fry’s Metal is adding additional money to be split three ways.  The modifieds, wingless spec and 410 winged main event winner will receive an extra $350.00.  That brings the 410-sprint car winners share to $2350 while also adding more money for the other two divisions.  It is a great gesture on their part to add extra money to the festivities at the speedway.

More information will be released soon about this weekend.  Adding up the money, if a sprint car driver could win Friday and lead every lap on Saturday, the payday would be over $8,000.  This year’s version of the race is already beginning to get a lot of people interested.
