Great job to the East team for all of the hard work! If I'm not mistaken, this is the first winged asphalt race for Bobby... Way to go!
This is also the first feature win for the Roush Yates 410 engine. We've got another engine sitting at the shop ready to race if there are any takers out there!

Thanks Jeremy. Your efforts are appreciated. You remind me of a guy trying to sell Bibles to a bunch of Muslims....the way to heaven but still little interest!

I thought a good 410 was a million dollars now. I know guys that are very competitive with 12000 dollar 410s but I thought a good one was a million dollars. Thats why we need a bunch more rules.
If we can be reasonable for just a second, I'm quite certain a RoushYates Ford is far less than 60,000.

I wish I could find a customer to buy one for 60K! This 410 is priced just like any Chevy. people would be astounded of just the parts cost. Engine builders aren't making a killing, there simply isn't much margin in engines.
All of our off road stuff is Ford. We've had good luck and won a chapoinship with our Ford off road engines this year.

OK...its out for the whole sprint car racing world to know now, a chevy is NOT a fraction of the price of a Ford. IF the Ford is an ounce heavier, the stupid weight rule took that lame excuse away years ago. Do we want to try something different and perhaps superior and get several hundred thousand new people intereseted in our sport or do we want to keep everything identicle for 20 years with basically no growth?

A Roush-Yates article in Circle Track magazine several months ago said that their sprint and late model motors would be competitively priced with the other builder's motors, meaning I suppose around $50,000 for a 410. Scott Bloomquist began running one of their motors (should say engines I guess) a couple months ago.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Jeremy, if your looking for someone to test out one of your 360s or 410s, I already have my sprint car setup for a Ford. Been running one ever since I got into sprint cars. I would be glad to help you out.

Bring them to PA, I'd love to see one running here. Sat at a table with a PA owner and PA engine builder a few years ago while they went through the plans for a 410 that the owner paid $58K for.
