Interesting choice to be made by fans in November , do we go to the WORLD FINALS OR DO WE GO TO THE OVAL NATIONALS ? What's your take ? I say the Oval Nationals , for better racing and not as many divisions or not as much qualifying . Non -winged racing possesses more passing , maybe not as fast but competition in back and up front most of the time
I'd like to hear your opinions , fans ?

Gotta go with Perris!
The only people that will enjoy the long drug out show in Charlotte on a horrible surface, will be the ones that have to ask who won in the morning. ![wink](/images/Main/wink_100x100.gif)

Ovals-best 3 days of racing. Fully Inverted Heat races, the B main on Saturday is like an A main any other place. Tape the World Finals or watch it at Perris. You will not be disappointed with the action during the Oval Nationals.
PS Probably not much of a choice. If you're closer to Charlotte and Love Wing racing go there. If you like non-wing racing, THERE IS NO BETTER EVENT THAN THE OVAL NATIONALS for non-wing.

Can't beat a show with the best winged 410's and best dirt late models in the world IMO. the sprint races at Charlotte have been OK while the LM's have been phenomenal.

I'm a wing car guy and I will tell you, Perris last year was top 5 all time. Go with perris.
It aint a fight unless the helmets are off.

Perris all the way! Quite a few flips in this clip but a good battle at the end.

The show at Charlotte is very good even the LM's. If I could go I would. Take plenty of ca$h and warm clothes for the night.

I didnt realize the two events were on the same weekend this year. Damn... I was planning on heading to Charlotte for the World Finals but thats now off the radar, I am heading to the Oval Nats. Perris Auto Speedway or The PAS as its referred to is probably the best track in the country that I have attended oustide of Knoxville. Great track prep, sound system, bleachers, food court, beer garden area, etc and perfect size/setup for non winged racing. The track announcer, Scott Dalosio is in my opinion the best announcer in the entire dirt track community and I mean no offense to all the other great announcers out there, he is just outstanding behind the mic.

On a sprint only basis, sounds like Perris is the choice. If you like late models at all though, Charlotte is a great track for them. They've put on a better A main than the sprints each time I've gone to the World Finals.

Couldn't agree with you more Matt. Without a doubt Scott is the best track announcer.

I went to the PAS Oval Nationals the last couple of years. Great racing, high car count and an outstanding facilty .... but the campgroud is a little quiet and tight camping. The Usac/non-wing fans tend to be a little tamer than the Late Model & WoO fans.
I am going to the World Finals this year for the 1st time. I hear it's a big party ..... especially with the late models fans.

I don't know about the parties but if your a late model fan this is the race for you . Too many cars or divisions this year , probably will ruin track for sprints .
