Have origopnwhlr's post been annoying others?

Does he ever make it to a race or just sit behind his computer 24/7? Majority of his 970 posts are just snide remarks or rarely related to the original topic

Why can't we all just talk sprint car racing like this board was meant for??

At the Nationals you have to be good (which he is) and have a LOT of luck (which he didn't).

im sorry to hear about the closing openwheeler, always wanted to try some. and yes the 0 heros had a tough speedweek all around.

Almost every board has a resident troll. i.e. someone who tries to cause trouble by diverting a discussion into controversy.

e.g. Some driver is on a hot streak. A troll will bring up traction control.

If a tire problem crops up, a troll will run Goodyear smack. The troll then sits back and somehow derives pleasure watching the controversy.

and so on. I remember back in the 90's on the RASN board, your could killfile a member and not have to see his posts. Nice feature IMO.

I will make a comment about Allard. Being from Iowa and not getting too far away from Knoxville Raceway I have always heard Allard is good, it just doesn't seem as if he ever has any luck at Knoxville. Even the times he's be here for weekly shows.

I found your original post a little "unjust" as you did exactly what CNN, MSNBC, etc do...you took a portion of my post and "twisted it!"

I think you would find it hard to find anyone more passionate about sprint cars. However, I do find a lot of "junk" going on...especially with the big boys...and I post my feelings about that.

As to Allard, I don't know why his luck is not so good at K-ville. A personal opinion but I don't think they spend enough time on the big tracks. We have one track in Cali which is a "halfer" and I don't know if the GSC even runs there anymore.

I am old, ugly, bald and love racing....on dirt....and if I ever get to K-ville I would be happy to buy you a big cold glass of......Sweet-tea!

I will comment on Allard only...the team couldn't find a setup. I don't really consider that luck and on Saturday they missed the gear ratio big time. He started 3rd and was 6th by the flag stand. I watched him run around CA and dominate for many years and then this year I watched him at Williams Grove...whoever said the team struggles on big tracks hit it on the ball.

He's a good driver but he's not going to get any better staying home, I think if they can do it financially running the ASCoC would be a great thing for the CA based team. Look at all the drivers that have dramatically improved over the course of the season running with them. That's a really long shot but I think it would really help the team.

Not going to comment on what this post was originally about.

Allard was behind the curve anyway because he's spent alot of time this season racing Hoosiers.
