Just wanted to give everyone an update. I was planning on running the 2010 Nationals but my son had other plans. At 9:21 PM Tuesday my son Chase Parker Bunton was born at OSF in Peoria, IL. We were discharged from the hospital at 5:00 PM on Thursday, missing our qualifying night. Can’t say I was glad to miss the Nationals, but I’m glad all went well. We hope to run the Nationals in 2011, but I guess you just never know.
Also, congrats to Tim Shaffer on the win! What a great guy and a great competitor.

Congrats to you and your wife, Ryan. It is hard to miss the Nationals, we know, but at least you have a great excuse.

Congrads Ryan. You were at the right place, and a good choice for sure. Your son will only be born once, but there will be another Nationals next year. Good on you for being a real father.

Ryan, Congrats to you and your wife. Len has been working on Tim Shaffers car for the Midwest swing the last couple of weeks. So, we were very happy when Tim won. So very happy for Janet Holbrook too. Good luck with your new son.
