anyone have pictures, video, would like to hear interview with Sammy? How about the trophy maker for the trophy? Thanks in advance

I couldnt think of a better person to win the JESSE HOCKETT MR SPRINT CAR AWARD. It just seems fitting that a driver like Sammy to win the award!

Sammy has made alot of new fans this year and had poeple cheering him that never did before. He did it by driving the heck out of every kind of car and at every track he was at. Sammy is on the gas green to checkered. I think that is what this award should represent, Jesse Hockett drive it like ya stole it going to the front sprint car racing! Thanks for the memories Jesse!

So what races make up this award? Is it all of the races during the week? I would have thought Shane Stewart would have done better.

Shane wasn't in Osky either of the races, nor the USAC race Sunday in Knoxville.

So it basically came to one guy not racing racing at Osky. Considering how they finished at the Nats. on Sat., Shane prolly could have won it by just making the Front Row Challenge featch.
