Heard rumors about possible driver changes, can anyone conform these. Lasoski out of the 6 car and who will replace him? Schatz leaving TSR and Sammy coming to TSR?

JMO but I think if a WoO ride opens up Shane Stewart will be the driver. He has shown time and time again that he can get it done. Its no secret that the 57 team is a low budget team yet Shane is always up front, ASCS or the WoO. So you put him in a well funded ride I think he will do just fine. Roth never should of let him go yet for Shane I think that was a blessing so he could show everyone no matter what team or what the budget is that he can drive to the front.

I agree with you Big Game...but my suggestion to the team that does pick Shane up; better hire the crew as well. I'm convinced that Silva and Shane working together is the key to that team's success.

I agree. Only thing I think should be different - screw a team picking them up. Silva has proven several things including the fact he knows how to manage money. The Silva Motorsports 57 team is here, and hopefully here to stay for a long time to come.

somebody should put dusty zomer in a quality car for the nationals and the area racing, a knoxville national a-main starts the last 4 years in less equipment than the woo or posse drivers have!! wake up owners!!!

Very good point. I hope the Silva team is here to stay as well but in this world money talks more times than not.

Which is why if the big money doesnt come, they will stay on the ASCS tour. Paul gets enough local support from Sacramento area sponsors to stay on the ASCS tour, which they are pretty good at, plus they race some of the California races when their schedule permits, including the Trophy Cup.

Shane and Silva just made a whopping $65,000 between the 360 and 410 nationals. There's some money.

Paul and Shane may not be the biggest or most funded team, but they are one of the best right now. Money doesn't always win. I think running the ASCS National Series has helped alot, in that the pill draw format makes it elbows up racing every lap. Tough Series.

He also won $25,000 for winning the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup last June at Skagit. Take into account he won a prelim that week and was third in the other and he banked about $30,000 that weekend alone.
Now, take into account the ASCS championship point fund is worth $60,000 to the champ (Stewart won that last year) and is second only to the WoO fund and Shane is sitting pretty good where he is.

lasoski is getting fired at the end of the season and he is starting his own team so he can race where ever he wants. schatz is going back to his family owned team and sammy is going to tsr. before mccarl broke his leg he was going to dennis roth and keading was getting the boot.

HAha i love people that know people.
Shane and Silva make me think of Sides kinda. You would love to see a big $ car owner come along but would you really? They are doing so good now would change be good? I think both just need more sponsors and races to win in Mo

I heard rumors of McMahan going to the 6 car before the end of this Season, to get organized for next year. However, I think that would be a huge mistake on his part. He should beg KKR to put a 3rd full time WoO Team on the road.
It seems like the Casey's car needs more than just a Driver, that whole Team needs an overhaul. JMO

Some good stuff on here! A 100% rumor thread that makes sense... a rarity.
Sammy needs to stay where he is, agreed. That looks like a good deal and they're doing well as a team. Stay put!
Clodsoski running his own deal and his own schedule. Watch out next year at Knoxville!
TK wins it or wears it. Who knows what Mr. Roth wants out of that car, I sure don't. He is a quality driver... hopefully he stays put.
Funding for Shaffer to run the WoO circuit... and you've got a new top 5 car. That's on my Christmas list.
3 car team for KKR. 2nd on my list. With Kasey going Red Bull... a lot of uncertainty for next year as of this moment. Will Red Bull/Toyota want to sponsor 3 sprint cars? I hope so. 1 year deal? Not the most likely proposition out there. Hendrick involvement? hmmmmm I'm looking at the bottom of this webpage and seeing an ad for hendrickcars.com, after all.
Stewart and Silva are one of the feel good stories of the year. Just get them additional sponsorship and turn them loose. 360? 410? Doesn't matter. They have it figured out. They do a lot with what they have. Look at the $ they've won in the last year (as was chronicled quite well above). The proof is in the pudding & the results.
Keep them together!
