What we know at 830am Sunday about Enid.
The track looks awesome. There is very little water standing anywhere it seems to have soaked up most of it. It has been one dry mo-fo in Enid and it needed rain bad.
The infield is a little muddy in spots but not bad.
We see the forecast is not good........but weather men are the only people we have ever know to be so wrong but keep their jobs. This system from what we can tell and we have looked at 4 or 5 different weather related sites on the internet today say basically we could have a shower at anytime. Well that is kinda safe talk as it's Oklahoma stick around if you do not like the weather cause it could change.
We are driving from Dodge City. That is over 200 miles. We are coming to -put on a race for you racers and fans. All I can tell you is that I do not rain out my races unless I am there and it is evident that it is not going to happen. I know and realize that people are driving from afar to race and to watch and the worst thing is if we cancel a race and the sun starts shining.
Please watch here on Tidbits and also on Enid Speedway's facebook and we shall try to get updates to you as the day goes on.
So what I am saying is LET'S GO RACING!
