Shhhh, I wouldn't be complaining about the LATE night rain, would you rather have it earlier and cancel everything? Mother Nature gets winds of this and you guys are there 'till Tuesday next week. I learned a long time ago, don't worry about things you can't control, like the weather. Enjoy, Take It Easy....

People who visit Iowa in July and August have been known to "disappear" never to be heard from again! Wink

LL: the last report I heard before noon was that it was still closed. I would go through Pella and come in on the north side of Knoxville if they don't have any road closing over there.

I just checked the Iowa dot site, and 1-80 is not closed yet for flooding. On the noon news, Highway patrol was watching for a possible closure later this afternoon or tonight. Around Colfax. It almost went over there in 1993. And like MSPN said, keep complaining about the weather and it will hit during the races. It could get worse. Everybody take care the rest of this week.

I swear the worst storm I have ever seen was at Knoxville in June 2005 during a WoO show. Nice day, time trials started then the s**t hit the fan. It poured for a solid 3 hours straight, literally. Thunder, wind, lightning, it was like a hurricane. The entire grandstand, parking lot, campground area, everything was flooded. What stood out was that it did not stop or slow down at all for such a long time.
It slightly altered my life.

Hi Mr. Mac it's the ND guys that used to sit in front of you. Couldn't do the whole week this year, so we will be coming on Friday am. Cory isn't coming, he is doing the NHRA this weekend up in Minn. We will be on the back stretch with some friends from SD. If I have time I'll try and stop over and say hi. Have a good week and say hi to Dave.
