I just read on the websites that USAC must have a Hoosier right rear at all times and Knoxville requires a Goodyear at all times. Somebody has got to give.With just a few days before the Goodyear Knoxville Nationals that the track will give on their stance. If that is the case I may find a car to rent for a night, I would be locked in the feature with only 16 car entered on the Knoxville website.

There will be plenty of cars at Knoxville tonight. My guess is right at 40. The only guys who pre-enter are guys running for USAC points. As for the tire debate USAC requires a Hoosier DT-3 to be ran and you can run anything else on the other 3. Knoxville knew that when they signed the contract so I am sure it is no big deal.
