Get me some too BG.
Here I will get it started:
Lance came from the back and then brought out a yellow. Then came back from the rear to charge 11th.
Fred can't even run top 10 on a regular Friday night at the Grove, so no surprise.
Esh just wasn't fast.
Don't know what happened with Walker just wasn't fast, hasn't been lately.
Next week we will be fairly represented. Dewease, Hodnett, Pittman and Smith all have decent chances at making the feature.

What are "Formerly Fast" Freddie's chances at KVille this year?
Is he 'A' material? 'B'? 'C'? Worse?
Is this heaven?
No, it's Iowa....Knoxville, Iowa.

I will go C-main for FFR. He has not been fast all year here in PA. Of the PA teams going to Knoxville, I think Rahmer's chances of making the A-main are better than only Adam Wilt.

Excuses are never valid for the WoO @ the Grove, but excuses are valid for the Posse away from the Grove??
Is this another case of the constant rules change by Posse fans regarding the "Posse vs. WoO" argument?
![Smile](/images/Main/smile_100x100.gif)
This stuff is great for the sport.... every sports needs rivalries and the Posse vs. WoO is red-hot right now!!!
Of course it is only hot because the Posse finally put together a winning streak at one track, but whatever it takes; it's all fun!!

Those were not excuses, simply reasons why they did not perform well. ![wink](/images/Main/wink_100x100.gif)
Here's how I look at for the Posse at Nationals
Dewease - He has been the best all year in and around PA. He has represented us well everytime he has left the porch. He may be a threat to win a prelim and around mid-pack A on Saturday
Hodnett - Not as good this year as last. Have him penciled in around the rear of the A on Saturday.
Pittman - Has had superb results in the 27, but is going in the 13. I'll say he fights to transfer out of the B, but he doesn't succeed. He hasn't shown much in this car, if they have a big motor he may compete up front in the A. But they haven't shown that they have the horses yet.
Smith - Back down to earth this year after a stellar 2009. Has struggled in PA. I'll say Stevie finishes around mid-pack B.
Walker - Been on and off since the switch to the 17. Done a lot of traveling. I'll say Walker is 1 of the 2 transfers out of the C.
Henderson - Always good at Knoxville, but has struggled all year in the Sorokach machine. Could make a big splash or a very minimal one. I'll go with the latter. Although, if things go right he could make a push to the A.
Wilt - Will compete against the likes of Dumesny, Gravel, etc. for rookie of the nationals. He will lose that race and come home in the C.
Rahmer - At points during this year he has been laughable at best. That continues this week as he runs the C, maybe worse. It is Rahmer though, and he may have a couple of tricks up his sleeve.
2 Cars make the feature from PA.
It's hard to predict how Pittman will do, because of the uncertainty of motor calibar.

so say you are not making excuses, but then proceed to make excuses for the poose guys in your seeding of them. lmao! what you end up saying is that the poose guys who venture out to the nationals are going to pretty much get their A$$ handed to them. remember, this seems to be your analogy.

Nice breakdown... looks pretty accurate to me with Walker being the lone exception. I have Dewease, Smith, Hodnett, and Walker in my top 24 with Pittman just missing the cut. Completely agree on Rahmer.... such a wildcard at Knoxville. Achilles for Posse at Knoxville over the years (IMO) is qualifying. Smith, Hodnett, and Walker typically have timed well at the Nationals while Dewease gets better as the night goes on. Wouldn't suprise me if Pittman got in. Thursday may be a "tougher" night to win (due to 4 heavy favorites), but Wednesday has more depth... which is another reason I like Walker's chances.
Should be fun to keep an eye on!

Walker has been so streaky this year, but his past history shows that he puts it in the feature. Should be interesting...if he can qualify well he is a lock.
You are right about Dewease he has struggled in TT's in past years. If he can figure that out, he will be fine. If not, he's going to have to finish top 5 in the prelim feature to compensate.

lol! I bet Shatz would want Walker to make it in the A, to bring out a yellow again. If 2 PA Posse drivers make it in the A, they will be lucky and at the back. And like most Nationals will be a non factor. Remember I said most Nationals. lol

I know this thread is a response to Cube's nonsense, but I really respect Lance and Fred for coming to Pevely. That track ain't no joke, and Lance has taken to it right away. Fred has definitely struggled, but they should be commended a bit for coming out to race with the big boys.

I would love to see Paulie win. Posse would claim it as a win because Cody is "suppose" to be in the car! ![Wink](http://www.hoseheadforums.com/images/Main/wink_100x100.gif)

Again, I know people are pulling for anything they can grab, but is this a serious argument? 3 drivers from PA were in this race, they didn't run the best, one night (not 8 straight). The WoO brings 15 drivers to PA, they are a traveling series, they ARE the professionals, they are the Cup series of Sprint Cars. PA is local racing, 90% of the drivers have other jobs and 99% of the crews do, why can't people grasp that? The top teams in PA have the same equipment that the Outlaws do, no doubt, but they don't have 5 replacements of each part in the trailer. If anything goes wrong 2000 miles from home, you can't just assume they got another. I one time(spring 08') watched Donny Schatz use three engines just to make the A in PA, not many local racers have $150-$175K worth of engine to go through in a night just to make a couple thousand in the feature(If you think they cost less, pull your head from your ass, $50K is a baseline price for a winning WoO 410 motor these days, out of the box).
Knoxville is the only other track with as many locals as Williams Grove, please compare the results between them and the WoO this weekend and let me know how it goes. Chances are, the PA drivers will stack up slightly better come National Open time this fall....and hope Dewease has problems, because, as was stated above, that's one of the fastest cars in the country right now.

It wouldn't "hurt me' to see a Posse driver win.
Or GSC driver.
Or FAST
Or ALL STAR
Or....any driver OTHER than the "big boys" from the WoO.
I would have a second sweet iced-tea if that happens! ![Smile](http://www.hoseheadforums.com/images/Main/smile_100x100.gif)
