Released now, before the Nationals? I havent heard anything about this and maybe its true. I just doubt the move would happen now just before Knoxville where Danny always runs so good.

I would bet McCarl ends up in that ride. Seems like a logical fit
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

Yes, he's leaving and will become the assistant manager at TSR.

He may not end up there but nothing makes more sense than putting another PA driver in the seat of an upper midwest C store chains car. Nothing against the guys they have had in that car but dollars to caseys donuts it has been the least productive well funded team in WoO since 2000

Well if that is true, that would be perfect timing for Doug Esh since he is out of the R19 now. He has a lot of experience on the half miles, so maybe they will give him a shot at Knoxville this week.

I agree sf32, there must be something in that team that is not jelling. Tim Schaefer (sp) didn't do all that much in the #6 car and look at him this year.

I heard that Mark Kinser would be driving the #6 this week and it would have a MOPAR under the hood so it would be fast.

No way. School has started in Indiana and he has no relief driver on his special-needs bus!

Mark's Mopar powered track record at Hagerstown from over 11 years ago still easily stands. Its time we move ahead instead of backwards. He might be driving a school bus or a mini van but the cars of today don't go like his did.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
