Love the picture! Thank you for sending it. I wish I had been there---my daughter just had her first baby and was home with her---she is a big race fan too and will be out at the track as soon as she can. As for me---I will be there at the Devil's Bowl to see it for myself!! I will leave work and fly out and get there a little late, but will still be there---and I just can't wait to see it and support my boy!

I just read the piece that Shawn Miller wrote on The Inside Line posted here on Hoseheads. Great piece and I enjoyed it. No one will ever know the tragedy and triumph of Travis Rilat that he and his family endured and celebrated. He truly is a miracle and I am in awe in his determination and fight. I have said it all along and am so thankful for everyone's support. That is the one thing that Miller left out---the prayers and support Travis received from people in the racing community. It is unbelievable that he is back on the track and behind the wheel, when 8 months ago he was fighting for his life with injuries that usually disable one is they survive. Amazing! You too will just have to see it for yourself. Hope to see all of you at Devil's Bowl to celebrate this young man's victory and recovery. He still has a lot of healing ahead, but my goodness he has come so far. I couldn't be prouder or more thankful.

Yes, it's true! Travis is racing this weekend at Devil's Bowl. I hope you all had a chance to hear him on RacinBoys interview. If you get a chance he has an interview there and on WingNation. His story is amazing and even better when you hear it from him. Gotta love that boy! Hope to see all of you this weekend out supporting my boy!
