WOW!!! What a crowd! HUGE car count with 30 Sprint Cars, 20 Illinois Outlaw Lightning Sprints, 25 Open-Wheel Modifieds, and 21 Hornets at the Kitchen Cooked Sprint Car Summer Shootout.

This event sold more concessions and beer than any other race in Peoria Speedway history. There were 2 lines of ticket buyers of about 2 hours solid to see the show.

Ryan Jamison took the lead and never looked back. Sprint Invaders made a groove about a foot away from the wall all the way to the bottem and used every inch of it.

Thanks for everyones help that got this event running in April. If anyone out there wants to promote a race, the Sprint Invaders are were you need to be. What a tremendous group and they take the show and run with it!

Now the question is, WILL THERE BE ANOTHER SPRINT CAR SUMMER SHOOTOUT IN PEORIA? YOU BET YOUR BUTT THERE WILL BE!!!

SEE YOU IN 2011!!!

Had read all of the promoter comments before the show. Went to see how much of it was true. I was very impressed. The races were very exciting. The modified feature was a typical modified feature. LOL! Really enjoyed the 51J catfish it to a victory. Look forward to the show again next year.
