Its going to be cool since no one is really good right now. A posse member could win the thing if they can find their way off the porch.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

27 races between wins. yep he's on fire. Hand him the trophy now. He will be a top 10 car but i think the ones they need to worry about is the senior club of Kinser and Swindell.

You could put Schatz in solitery convinement all year and then take him out for the Nationals and he could win it. He has been dominate at Knoxville over the last few years as we all know, and not just at the Nationals week. He did run subpar earlier this year during the hall of fame weekend but when the Nationals come around.. Schatz will be back, unfortuantely. I'm not a Schatz fan but I'm smart enough to know you don't keep one of the sports best down during the biggest weekend.

Schatz 44 races, average finish of 7.78 4th in WoO points with 6034 and 3 wins

I think you are right outlaw fan. I look for Sammy to do well as he has been out there running some races and Steve is always tough at the Nationals. After his off season surgery he has been back to his old form. Having said that (not being a Schats fan) you can't overlook Schatz as he has been on his game at Knoxville for several years, either winning or running second. Should be very interesting. Can't completely overlook Paulie as he has been running strong in the KK car.

I like the fact they can't come up with nothing else lets bring up physical traits. By the he will have to eat them or give them away
because anyplace to set them down is taken up with trophies
I am expecting something back fitting for your class

I think you are going to see Joey Saldana finally getting the monkey off his back at Knoxville...he has ran 2nd place there so many times.. he will do it this year and I hope Paulie follows him across the stripe!!

One word to describe a victory at the Nationals..."finesse". Schatz is the best at it.

I didn't say Dollansky was going to win instead. He has been all over the place this year so gods only knows what he will do. I hope he does good but they have had a lot of bad luck
As far as Schatz goes yes he dominates Nationals but he dominated the summer leading up to it too. He hasn't been so much this year. I'm going to keep thinking like that so i have hope someone else will win.

Would "CONVINEMENT" be placing him between rows of grapes out here in Cali?
Remember, we don't have "Dunkin Donuts" out here....but we do get overnight UPS & FED EX!

If he wins the Nationals hopefully he'll be a little more excited. Maybe a wing dance? Or 'think' about climbing the fence like Schatz thought about doing a couple years ago.

Dear Lord:
Please keep ALL racers safe...and let someone win who has never won THE NATIONALS!
Thank you.

I'm not a Schatz fan at all, and would love a new winner. However, I am realistic and know you can't count him out even with the year he has had. I think if this were a traditional year running say 30 laps it would be easier to pick Steve or Sammy to win, but with 50 laps that is a lot of laps where anything can happen. Just think how easy it is to get tangled up with a lap car. The 50 laps makes it very hard to predict a winner. 14th place is the farthest it's ever been won by Kinser in 95 I believe. I think anybody making the A-main has a shot at winning just by who is luckiest to stay out of wrecks and who's equipment can hold together for that long i.e. tires, motors, drivelines.

I have no doubt Schatz will be a contender.
I just want to see Joey pass him on the fence for his first Nationals!

If Joey Saldana does not win will we have to look at his sour puss face on the podium if he finishes in the top 3 ???? Just finish 4th and be done with it Joey .... WOW !!!! Not very professional for your big time sponsor, Budweiser ..... And these sprint car drivers can't figure out why they can't get sponsors to stay with them .... Good luck to everyone at the Nationals !!! Let's all hope for good racing and hope no one gets hurt this year. Thanks !!!!
