I know...it is NASCAR...but he is in a hospital...another plane crash! 
Accident was at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wi.
Initial report said something about his corporate jet splitting in two upon landing!
TSA...It's not a GROPE...it's a Freedom Pat!

That's wild, I just read a report that he "pancaked" it on landing, which tells me it stalled. The jet was a Hawker/Beech Premier I, when I worked for Hawker/Beech in Experimental Fight Test, I helped build the first one and worked flight testing to gain certification. It's a good jet, but it's a "hot rod". It was cutting edge when it was designed and built, it is an all carbon fiber fuselage with a metal wing. The fuselage is "two part" and is joined together just in front of the engines, it's my guess that, that's where it came apart.

I guess Pat/Beech Premier I doesn't have the same 'ooh-la-la' as Hawker/Beech Premier I does ..... heh ...heh ....
