Pre-registration is now at 99 cars.
However I don't see many PA Posse names on the list.
Anyone know if the following are planning to make the trip?
Layton/Montieth/Krimes/Mark Smith/Leppo/Krietz/Ott
I'm surprised the PA tracks are not taking a week off for the Nationals.

I would be suprised if any of those teams head to Knoxville. Why would you be surprised that PA is racing that week? The PA tracks have never taken off during Nationals week. As a matter of fact, PA teams that go to the Nationals end up in the penalty box for handicapping upon their return.

I meant why would you be surprised that PA is racing that week because the tracks in PA always race Nationals week. That is not something new this year.

Count at 99 and you can add: 2 Blaney...2B Gregg...4X Lutar...7 Dollansky...14 Myers...15 Schatz...15H Hafertepe...18 Bruce...22 Ellenberger...83 Kaeding...Other likely entries w20 Wilson...98G Gravel...14 Zemken...Gharst...Wright...Balog...Maybe a couple more from the IRA...Count might reach 120 but my guess after late changes and no shows would be around 110..I am sure I am not alone when it comes to checking the Kville website daily to see the updated entry list...Part of the exitement and anticipation...Does not matter what the thread is there will always be a jackass adding a snide remark to it....

I thought there would be more by this time...simply because of the 50th and all the hoop-la-la which will be associated with it.
Hope all those who attend have a good time....have a designated driver....and remember there is ALWAYS someone who wants to rain on your parade! ![Smile](http://www.hoseheadforums.com/images/Main/smile_100x100.gif)

Or you could drive drunk and kill someone that would make a nice parade with or without rain

Nobody is trying to rain on your parade just don't get stupid drunk and expect the law to look the other way there are to many lawyers wanting a reason to file.
That is why you can't have dumpster races and the bus ride and other fun things.

Besides Krietz, if any of those 6 drivers win the 20G this weekend that may get them thinking. If not, maybe Ott, they said they will go out when he's ready. Layton and Monteith are going to take that weekend to catch up on Hodnett for the points title. Krimes has been having a good year and I would love to see him go out. Leppo went out once and showed what he's got, TT skills. Unfortuantley the end result wasn't so hot. Considering none of them even traveled to Lernerville, it may be a long shot to see any of them in August.

Krimes is trying to make the trip, however his trailer is not big enough to bring the necessary spares for Knoxville. The last I heard, they are looking for a loaner.

Brousing through quickly and do not see Sammy Swindell's, Steve Kinser's, or Kraig Kinser's name pre-registered....that # will climb the closer we get.
|
Here is the list I was looking at and no Sammy, Steve, Kraig....it is the story attached to the Dave Blaney announcement.....I see the list has been updated since then.....my bad.
