This not a fair argument when you look at the PA tracks that have outlaw shows they have weekly 410 racing look at the tracks in Ohio with Outlaw Shows....Eldora no weekly 410 racing Lima no weekly 410 racing Attica does have weekly 410 racing but the outlaws got rained out there this year.

This was a strange race...a lot of attrition from the track being rough???

Always happy to see Lance win wherever it is, he is a great representative of the sport and paid a big compliment to Don Martin...

Au contraire my friend. When OH locals put like 4-5 in the top 10 at a WOO show at Fremont or Attica a couple years ago, I thought we'd never hear the end of it. The funny thing was that Stevie Smith won the race. Then there's always those that complain that more central PA cars don't come out to Eldora or other OH tracks but the road travels both ways.

You're right it is great to see a local anywhere beat the big boys. LD has done it at Lernerville and Charlotte in recent years and had a 2nd earlier this year in TX.

Yeah, I remember that. The fact that you choose to ignore is that it was people from posse-land that were trying to call us out and we simply defended ourselves on the boards.

The simple truth about the fans in Ohio is this; the majority of us could care less about what goes on beyond our borders. Some of us check the boards to see what's going on elsewhere and we applaud the locals that do well in other areas. Other than that, we don't give a shit.

It's nice to hear stories ect. about what's going on elsewhere but, we don't obsess over it. I do believe that many of our drivers/teams do more with less than anywhere else and they put on a helluva show while doing that. For a perfect example of that look at what happened to Blaney last year. He loses one motor and it sidelines him for a month or so.

So, when any of you consider talking smack about our guys, please keep that in mind. When our guys stay away from Eldora, don't fair well when the circus is in town or don't travel far from home it has nothing to do with talent. Give them the budget that others have in certain areas of the country and it would turn any circus show into a massacre when they come here.

But origo mentioned that Dewease wasn't at Eldora or Limaland. Isn't that the same thing?

We don't send cars to you and you don't send cars to us, but we both beat the WoO. I don't see anything wrong with that. wink

I'm not attacking or defending any comments that Leon made. I was simply responding to the assertion that we made a big deal out of a particular race.

In the end there is a simple way of looking at this deal. Those who are fortunate enough to have good racing in their backyard on a weekly basis will be fans of the drivers/teams that provide that good racing. Others will be fans of the circus.

Always funny to me how the summer in the message board seems scripted for the "Posse":

Brag in late July.... and disappear in August.

...and I doubt it's gonna get any better. Make that 7 straight for the Posse, and Dewease started BEHIND Shatz and Kinser to get there.

I know there a bunch of no talent locals in the other 49 states, but guys, come to PA, were watching history everytime the Circus comes to town these days.

Well, he did it again tonight at the Grove.

Guess that is an "official Posse win" since Sarver isn't Posse land.

Good for the locals. They did put a whippin' on the big boys tonight!

I wouldn't call it a whippin, 2-4th were big names, but it would be nice to see Dewease get a few seasons with the WoO right now. He did ok traveling with the All-Stars the other year, but that was this teams first season together and it was basically a new team. Now they've gelled, 2nd at Texas earlier, wins at the Grove and Lernerville. Good for him and that team, he doesn't mince words when he talks about defending PA 410 racing.

Glad to see Allard make the feature.

I didn't see the hot Cali export in the A. Wonder what happened?

I just realized it was 6 of the top 10 again. Like seeing Donnie Kreitz up front again, if I ever hit it big I'd love to give him the equipment for a night. Good runs for Krimes and especially Dietrich. I'm a believer in his ability now.

Well tonight doesn't really count since everyone knows that it's the track that beats the outlaws when they come to Williams Grove. LMAO WTG Lance! Hope they can keep it rolling! The outlaws have been close the last couple races so I don't see the streak going much further although I hope it does.

Nice job by Danny Dietrich picking up the hard chargers award.

Congrats to the "posse" for winning their 7th straight. They have finally pulled even with the "Circus" over the past three years. Oh... did they forget they had lost six straight (and 8 of 9) prior to the Posse's longest winning streak in history? Which by the way is something the "Circus" has done three times and doubled once. Kudos to the "posse"... they are red hot on their home track.

I pretty much agree wholeheartedly with the last couple sentences of Powerslave's post. I never understand why so many people on this board post only to take a dump on local racers when they do well against NASCAR money. I really don't see that dynamic on the other short-track racing boards I post on. Hell, Friday night's race was barely over before there were already people coming into the thread to bash away on a local racer beating the Outlaws two races in a row. The whole bashing of racers that is standard on this board always seems counterproductive to the sport from people that are supposed to be Sprint Car fans.

Sammy wasn't happy with his whoopin' and tried his best to wreck DD after the checkers and nearly plowed Stevie heading to pit road running to get away from a not very amused Dietrich. Typical Sammy.

Oh believe me, I like a lot of the OH guys and I'm glad to see them do well but it seems there is a double standard when it come to congratulating your drivers. I don't know the budget details of every sprint team so I won't even go there. Yes we are lucky to have some well funded teams and if OH does not then i would have to wonder why. Central PA is not a wealthy area. Surely there has to be some wealthy business owners in OH who like sprint car racing, no?

The 30c doesn't have an outlaw type budget. Sure they have good equipment and enough of it to run a busy schedule but this is still a team that saves their best motor for big races. I have to laugh every time the WOO comes to the grove and the outlaw motor swap races begin. Every few minutes Johnny is announcing such and such outlaw team is changing a motor. motor changes are not all that common for weekly shows. Keep swapping 'em boys but here's a clue: you're not losing because of motor.

You can't deny right now that the Posse is hot at home. So...who's gonna step up tommorow?
