Tomorrow (Tuesday) night with hot laps at 6:30 PM and racing/eating/films at 7:00 PM. Located at NW 39th Expressway and Portland on the very west end where Locke Supply is located.

Hope this helps and hope to see you tidbitters there!

I was looking though some of my old VHS tapes looking from some things and I found some Knoxville nats from the late 90's. Cool stuff looking back at those.

I can't make tonight, working you know.

What's the deal with the restaurant? I hear it has memorabilia on the walls.

I would think we will be there until 8:30 or so, we will be there as long as everyone else wants to be there, You can just call us at 943-5551 to see if we are there, thanks for the interest in coming, should be a great time.

Brian26, we were hoping you were coming because you also have a lot of old videos, We just have a wall with old racing pictures from programs from the 70's and 80's, plus other racers have brought in some great pictures as well.

Thanks, hope to see and meet everyone

Wish I had known sooner. Hope this is the first of many get -togethers.

Keep the deal going from time to time, and I'll do what I can.

Had a great time tonight at Holley's BBQ. If you couldn't make it, maybe Charles will have another one. A big thanks to Charles, Charlie & Kevin for hosting. The food was great and visited with friends I haven't seen in awhile. The BBQ Pizza was outstanding, put it on the menu.

I agree totally. It was fun. I was there only for a short time but you could hear all the war stories being told. The videos of the old races were cool. I told sleepy that you could sit there and watch them all day long.

By the way nice to meet you Mjm.

You too,CP/

Thanks Holleys, sittin there eatin that good BQ and watching the Racin videos from the ol days was pretty cool.

If someone could throw dirt in my pop and make some funnel cakes/corn dog smell it would have been just like leanin on the rail by the fence at the Fairgrounds.

Thanks Cheese for coming up with the coolest shirt I have seen in quite some time, I am sure that your Grandpa is proud of that.

Was good to put some faces to some names & was great to see some of the Legends of Racing from OKC there.

That chocolate/banana puddin dessert was good too...............

Yes thank you to the Holley's for putting this on and there is talk of another one. Hopefully keep it going.

Drivers young and old were on hand including Shane Carson, Jack Moulton, Sheldon Barksdale, Bud Johnson, Brandon Jennings, Jeff Leep, Dutch Ter Steege, Stan Constant and Duke Hill. I am sure there were others that I am not really familiar with and hopefully somebody will point that out too me.

Good times and can only get better - if that is even possible because this first turnout was very good.

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight, it looked like everyone had a good time talking and watching the old videos, we didn't get to show the hutch fire video that was brought so we will have to put it in the rotation for next time. If Oklahoma had a racing hall of fame, half of the museum would have been there tonight. Again thanks for everyone who made it a successful night, like John Stewart bringing those awesome models and videos, and David Smith for the videos. I just wish maybe we had name tags so everyone could have put a face with a name.

That is just for the next get together, name tags. I was amazed at all who was there. Some of my childhood favorites.

David two generations of Pickards were there as well. Perry and Kevin. Steve Ochs and fmaily.

This thing could go on forever. How big is the parking lot? No, I'm not kidding--ran into a lot of people last year wanting to come to the next one.

Parking lot is huge and pretty much empty during the evening. At least from what I saw.

Good. In the future we may need all the room we can get. Keep me posted on this...

It has been mentioned that if this were to be once a month, the third Tuesday of each month would work well with the third Wednesday of each month-The Tulsa Legends Luncheon at the The Cherokee Casino in Tulsa.

Don't know exactly what your plans are, but a very credible source told me to relay that here.

Me and David were talking to each other last night and we both agreed that we might let the paper know that this is going on. Basically, saying that racing eventhough not be held at the fairgrounds it is not forgotten in Okc.
