I loved Joey's interview last nite. I will not be back to Eldora for a long time after last year's conditions. It looks like we have a real conflict of interests. Tony knows the chev powered dough boy can't run with Joeys Mopar on a decent surface so he makes sure there is no cushion in sight. I said it last year and Joey pretty much summed it up last nite as well. We have one of the best rim riders ever with an engine that can make a difference if they have some traction. Lets not ruin it Tony. See if your boys can run with him on the mat on the cushion on the wall. If they ride around the middle like last year, we might as well get a real job.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

You really think Tony has that much control over the outcome of the track prep? I don't think so. It's called driving with finesse.
As to the name calling, it's childish. Btw, it's King Donny XXVI.

Regardless of track condition they are all on the same surface, suck it up & deal with it. A dry track seperates the men from the boys.

Track owners and promoters only wish they had that much control on a racing surface. Good race last night and hopefully an even better one tonight.

Should have seen how good Joey and Donny were at Lima where motor didn't matter and the track was slick with a little moisture on top and a little on bottom. Joey started 16 and maybe got 14th. Shotts kept spinning out in heat and main. The King came from the back of every race and ran second...
Wasnt' a motor race. It was a driver race. Anyone can run a cushion. And if that's the only place and you start towards the front you should win.
