FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DAVID CARDEY GETS RIDE FOR PAS ASCS EVENT ON SATURDAY!

(JULY 16, 2010, RIVERSIDE, CA) Good news for Southern California race fans may be bad news for the competitors in the ASCS Canyon Region Sprint Car Series as they converge on Perris Auto Speedway for tomorrow (July 17) night's race. Riverside, California's David Cardey picked up a ride late Friday afternoon and will be seeking his sixth straight main event win in his last six starts. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM and the first race will be at 7:00.

Thursday evening the prognosis for Cardey racing on Saturday was looking bleak. However, a facebook message on Friday morning led to phone calls and had Cardey trying to put a deal together for the race. Late Friday, while working on the first deal, Cardey received another phone call from Phoenix, Arizona driver R.J. Johnson asking if he had a ride. Within minutes, Cardey was hooked up to drive the Bob Bishop's #62 at The PAS. In the last race at The PAS, Bishop's car finished fifth in the main event. Since that time, the car has finished 4th at Canyon Raceway Park on June 12th and third at USA Raceway in Tucson on June 26th. The car has one other top five and two top 10 finishes in 2010.

"I want to thank R.J. Johnson for the phone call," Cardey said. "I really appreciate him taking the time to call and see if I had a ride. I also want to thank Bob Bishop for giving me the opportunity to drive his car. I am looking forward to tomorrow night."

Fans are urged to come out early to meet David and all of the ASCS Sprint Car drivers at the on track autograph and photo session from 6:15 – 6:45.

David would like to thank all of the sponsors for making his 2010 season possible. Circle Track Performance, iTi Performance Motorsports, Pick's Racing Engines, Racer's Pub, 5-Star Gas & Gear, Monster Media, Down's Oil, Empire Plumbing, Spin Tech Performance Mufflers, Don Flanders and Scott Daloisio Sports. To add your company to the sponsor list of David Cardey Racing's team for the 2010 campaign, please use the contact information at the start or end of this release.

"bad news for the competitors in the ASCS Canyon Region Sprint Car Series"

California vs. Arizona

David might have his hands full with almost 20 Arizona cars headed to the PAS tomorrow!

Is he netural because he is from California but driving an Arizona car?????

If he can post the win tonight, that would be six wins in three different cars (two of the victories would be first time in a car), in three different organizations and two different tracks.
