Sprint Car Time at Chowtown
The much anticipated return of the Wright One 360 winged sprint cars happens this Saturday night at the Chowchilla Speedway. If the return of the winged sprint cars is not enough then fans will be pleased to hear the 360 non winged sprint cars are also sharing the headline spot. That's right, two injected sprint car classes in one night!
We could not stop there so we also scheduled the ground pounding Western Modifieds as headliner number three. Three big main events in one night of racing this Saturday night at the Chowchilla Speedway!
The under card for the show includes the Valley Sportsman and the Sport Mods.
Pit gates open at 3:00, grandstands at 5:00, with racing action at 6:00. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for juniors, and kids five and under get in free with a paying adult.
Chowchilla Speedway, the place to be this Saturday night!

this could be a good weekend for the injected 360 non wing cars to race at chowchilla since there is no usac west coast race.
i have had conversations with davey and he has confirmed that the nonwing injected 360 portion will be using usac west coast 360 tire and motor rules, and it will pay 1000 to win with 100 to start the main.

And... how have you been?

I read on another site that they had 8 winged sprints and 1 non winged sprint. Apparently the non winged car ran wingless against the winged cars. What a deal at the bargain price of $15 to get in. yikes
"Winged or non-winged its all about
the sprint cars for me!"

Ricky Wright. Andy Ferris, DeCarlo.
Anthony Simone got the jump at the start. Justin Sanders spun in turn two and then turned over in turn four on the first lap after contact with another car.
The 15 car, Eric Humphries(?) led several laps before slowing dramatically on the front straight. Ricky Wright nearly climbed over the back of him when he slowed but made it through and led the rest of the way. Ferris was closing at the end but never got close enough to make the pass.
Can't remember the non wing drivers name but he ran with the winged cars.
