I assume by looking at the schedule the KAR maybe at Hays on the rain date for the Hutch Nationals on July 17th?
I had way to many grandkids (9) to play favorites on taking them to the races. I had planned on going with one and then two and then just cancel the whole plan when the others showed up a day early. I was watching the radar and rain fall amounts (.45 and finally .60) anyway on the internet it looked hopeless at about 5:15.

I'm trying but it's not looking good for me to make it. The old yellow mare I bought to pull the car with needs and engine change.
Anyways, think of us back here and bring back some pics guys.

#34 flathead rail, aka "the rusty rail", will be there. Probably won't get there till Saturday morning. Planning to tent camp if they have a spot they will let people set up. If not, I think they have a KOA kind of camp ground.

Thanks for the tip. Think I will set up camp in the park southeast of the track if there is room. Bought a pit bike tonight, so will have something to get around on and terrorize the other campers with. Are you going to be with a car or spectating? Look forward to meeting you and the others.

I'm stretched to limit right now on resources, and with a few crisis here right now, it makes it virtually impossible for me to get a car up there. The distance versus work schedule being the biggest factor for me.
I applaud you guys for getting Belleville back on your schedule, and sincerely wish to be there- but I just can't make it.
Have fun (that's what it's all about), you're going to have a BIG weekend.
