Great night of racing! This was my first trip to Lakeside and was very impressed. Very fast ,well preped , multigroove track. The old fellas put on an awesome show but Saldana probably had them covered till the motor let go. I'd definately put it on my to do list next year. Tenderloins were great too, even better tha Knoxville's. Camped with some great folks.. if Charlie Barton and friends are reading this send me a message and THANKS A MILLION.

Lakeside is a crown jewel. If you enjoyed that, go there for the 2-day Ron Shuman Classic on August 20-21. Awesome event. It is also "THE" event (before it was called the Shuman Classic) where Jesse Hockett announced himself to the nation he had arrived. That story can be seen at http://hoseheads.com/dhub.html

Kudos to Steve and the crew. Hopefully that will take a little of the bad taste from Saturday's results out of their mouths. I know for SURE that they were not happy that night, to say the least.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.
