In three weeks I am going to Williams grove for the first time and could use some advice on where to sit, how early I should get there, etc.

I say best place to sit would on the frontstrech ; high as you could go with having a reserve seat; park behind main grandstand; get there pretty early depending on what show you are attending; I have been going to the Grove since my first outlaw race back late 70s; go in the infield; have fun and hopefully you come back for more like a woo show or pa sprint week show !!!

The frontstretch has long been considered the family section....then you have the rowdy backstretch & Beer Hill. I wouldn't reccomend sitting in the infield....the view sucks....however, standing to the inside of turn 3 for hotlaps can give you a different perspective on things. Just stay out of the RED seats...reserved seat folks sometimes don't enter the track til racing begins...

Roam around a little & check out different vantage points. There's nothing like watching them scream into turn 3!

You shouldn't need to be there early for a regular show...but if it's your first time there, you might as well go early.

Enjoy!

surely hotlaps from the outside of T3 is a great experience as they come straight at ya down the super long straights. It really shows you how much the bridge/hump affects the cars as they wander down the straight.
