SHOWTIME WINS AT PERRIS.......WAY TO GO...

Rain (well; drizzle anyway), red cars and rear ends. Darland (in a red car) lost a rear end, then a drive shaft (while leading the B Main), took a provisional, passed 17 cars and finished fifth. Spencer (in a red car) went backwards and then had steering problems (but came back out during one of the many reds and yellows), but was never a factor. Kruseman (in a red car) took a while to catch pole sitter and early leader Tyler Brown (in a half-red car), before expiring. Brown did himself in in turn 3-4 on lap 19 after Kruser got by. Wheel-packing was required to dry things out after drizzle #1. Rip made a serious run at it for awhile, but faded. Jones was a factor, but Sheridan (who had to come through B Main, which he won) and then Cardey got by. The podium featured a sideburned Showtime, Dynamite Dave and Cowboy Tony.

Then two amateurs got into it at the corner of Ramona and Evans, and everyone sat in their cars for a half hour. One of the obliterated passenger vehicles was, of course, red.

wow!!! with Sheridan winning, that makes it 11 different winners in 11 races!!!

the most consistent team so far this year is the #4 with Tony Jones at the wheel. Good job and thanks for putting on a great show to all!
