Congrats goes to the #9, I'll be interested to see if some avatar pictures turn into the #9 or the #14 on this board; I'll predict now that Schatz isn't coming back from this deficit, and I'm ok eating crow in November if I'm wrong, cause it'll take the most dominating WoO Summer ever from the 15 for that to happen.
Also, PA gets bashed for not providing a traveler, but it's time Lucas Wolfe gets some credit. He's not running for TSR or KKR and hasn't won with the WoO, I get that. Running 7th with the WoO (with a team that a year ago consisted of father/son basically), and knocking on the door night in and out just proves what we in PA know, he can drive.
Part of this is truth, a lot is opinion...I'm ok stirring the pot though.....

It's true... Lucas has been fast all year. His 1st Outlaw win is coming soon! I noticed a big improvement this year at Tulare. He didn't get the result but man was he fast.

I might eat it for saying it, but 2010 is not Schatz's year. I watched him on Friday at Dodge City and he came out aggressively in hot laps, timed well, dominated his heat, started 3rd in the feature. 2006-2009 ago he would have won going away, this year its a 7th place finish.
Lucas is 7th in points this year, which might not sound like much, but there are a solid 13-15 guys who can win a race this year, so if he's in the top half of that group, it's saying something.
Very impressed w/ Dodge City. Great track and very enthusiastic fans.

I don't really care who wins the title.
It is great to see the 5w team getting some well deserved runs. The win is right around the corner!

dsc says, "but there are a solid 13-15 guys who can win a race this year!"
I find the following, who have committed to the entire season, as those I would expect to win every night.
SALDANA, MEYERS, STEVE AND SCHATZ
Occasionally, I would expect..SIDES, DOLLANSKY.
For a pleasant surprise I would add..HAUD, KRAIG, PAULIE AND LUCAS.

After watching the #15 at Knoxville a couple weeks ago, I don't think you'll see him win the Nationals this year either. I believe Saldana wins the points and the Nationals this year. One to watch at the nats is none other than Sammy, if he stays in the BigGame car. Out of the near 50 sprinters at Knoxville, Sammy and Jason Sides were pretty dang impressive.

not sure if you were taking exception to his post or not, but I have to agree with him... since dsc didn't stipulate only those who have committed to run the entire season you have to add Sammy (since he did just win) and Lasoski as threats to the 10 you listed. Plus I would say Hafertape could easily win on some of his home tracks, a guy like Madsen could steal a win at Knoxville or Eldora, and depending on how much they actually race with the outlaws Walker, Pittman, or Kemenah could also take one. Not to mention Darrah or McCarl whenever they return.
Add in Layton, Rahmer, and Tatnell who have already stolen shows from the WoO, and more trips to PA, OH and CA where other locals like Hodnett, Smith, Blaney, Keading or Allard could win any WoO show and I would say I could easily see 20 different drivers winning WoO races this year.

Sorry, I guess I didn't understand as I based mine upon those running the entire year.
And I noticed I left Lasoski off and I would add him to the "occasional" list.
Also, I honestly thought Lutar and Ellenberger would "be gone" by June lst.
Glad they are managing to stay out there.
Gooooooooooooooo SIDES! ![Smile](http://www.hoseheadforums.com/images/Main/smile_100x100.gif)

Schatz has been the only one who has consistently given the Posse a run for their money around here in recent memory. Him being out of the way doesn't bode too well for the Circus. Look at the bright side however, at least Saldana didn't have to use a provisional last time around... He must be faster than ever!!!
Outlaws suck....
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
much less chromoly...http://www.ycmco.com
