A photo I took at Knoxville 4-wide coming out of turn 2... 30 years ago.

This was the WoO race in April of 1980 set for a Sunday afternoon so NBC could tape it.

Pinckney -10, Green -55, Shuman -75 and Brooks-12 in the first row. Row 2 has Leavitt -49, Potter -47, Kinser -11 and Carson -20. The Nance1n in row 3 was Mike Peters.

Is that State Fair Speedway in OKC? The only thing that makes me think otherwise is the doublr guard rail but the back drop sure looks like May Avenue.
