Schneiderman takes home a Top Ten

(West Burlington, IA) May 8th, 2010 – Josh Schneiderman and the Deuce Motorsports 49 made their second appearance at the Knoxville Raceway this past Saturday. The team was looking for a solid finish after suffering a right rear tire failure while running 4th, resulting in a DNF the previous week. With Josh studying for finals in Cedar Falls, Bart and the team worked long hours repairing the damage to the 49 machine. Their hard work paid off as Josh would qualify the I Wireless, Automotive Machine, J&J Auto Racing, Pro Shocks sprinter in the 3rd spot with a lightning quick lap of 14.785. "This car and motor has been super fast right out of the box. Manny Rockhold has done an awesome job with this motor and Dad has been spot on perfect with the tuning. I couldn't be more pleased with our first two qualifying efforts this year," commented Josh.

Schneiderman and his Liberty Transport, Morning Sun Farm Implement, Engler Machine, Hoosier Race Tire 49 would start 6th in the third heat race. With a quick, narrow race track and fast field of cars, Josh would fight his way up to the 4th position at the checkers. "With all the rain last week the track was super fast, but the team had the car working good and it allowed us to make some nice moves to get into a transfer spot," said the 22 year old, "I've been working hard to improve on my heat race runs and together we are headed in the right direction."

The cool temperatures provided for some hot racing action in the A-main. With the 12 fastest cars being inverted, Josh and his AMP Energy, ButlerBuilt, HRP Wings, Weld Wheels mount would start in the 10th spot. The 25th Anniversary 49 sprinter would fight hard in the top 10 the entire race, with it ending in an 8th place finish. The UNI Senior would lend his thoughts, "The team really gave me a nice car in the feature. The car was fast anywhere on the racetrack, but it was really tough passing with the quick track and quality of race cars. All in all I was really happy with our night and I know the team is headed in the right direction. We are going to be tough all year."

The Deuce Motorsports 49 will once again be competing at the Knoxville Raceway this coming Saturday night. Don't forget to get your limited edition, 25th Anniversary, Josh Schneiderman T-shirts before their gone. Make sure to stop by the Deuce Motorsports' trailer, as the team has great surprises for their 25th Anniversary. Josh and the Deuce Motorsports team would like to thank their sponsors on board this year. Without them none of this would be possible. This week's featured sponsor is i Wireless. i Wireless and Deuce Motorsports are beginning their 3rd season together. i Wireless is a wireless communications provider with locations throughout the Midwest. i Wireless provides a high quality service at an extremely affordable price. They provide plans for everyone, whether a family or business they have something for you! Josh comments, "i Wireless is an excellent service provider and a huge supporter of our team. We are extremely excited to be able to represent their company."
