DEEPEST APPRECIATION
Thanx to National Speed Sport News, Dave Argabright, Ken Cormack, Steve Hardin and several other outstanding members of our auto racing fraternity our mailbox has been jammed for the last two weeks with cards and letters from all over the world offering their best wishes for a speedy recovery from my massive stomach surgery. My wife Louise and I have received letters from racing individuals from my forty years on the microphone from all over the world. From England, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and most all of our own fifty states. We most deeply appreciate each and every one of you that has made us truly feel a part of this huge auto racing family. After much discussion between my wife and I, we have decided that it is best to be honest about my recovery. It is not to be. I have terminal pancreatic cancer. No one can guess at any time line, but it really doesn't matter. We are going to do our utmost to enjoy every minute of every day. With our most heartfelt appreciation we can only pray to see each of you once again. Thank you all for being such wonderful and dear friends. Jack & Louise Miller, Odessa, Florida

Shit! I obviously did not read this entire message and thought you were fine. Man I hate to hear this news but please do not give up fighting. Kenny Fischer with the Highbanks Hall of Fame and Museum beat this monster for the better part of three years and I thought he had it beat all together. If you need any advice I'm sure the museum can put you in touch with the Fischers: http://www.highbanks-museum.org/ I wish you guys the best and my thoughts are with you - one of my fondest racing memories involves you and I will never forget you. You do have the right attitude though: make the most of and enjoy every minute of every day!

Jack and Louise I'm so sorry to learn of your illness Jack. Shane sent me an email today mentioning you and then I got a phone call and didn't finish reading it. You keep fighting like I know you will. When my dad Steve was diagnosed with lymphoma they only gave him 6 mos. and he made it more than 5 years. We took him to Mexico for some alternative treatment and have often wondered if it helped extend his life. If you hang tough maybe I'll attend my first Chili Bowl next year. I've always threatened to go but never made it. I stopped driving 18 yrs ago but still don't make a very good spectator. You'll both be in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Rick Ungar

Jack,
We don't know each other but I feel for you more than you know. Please check out www.cancerhopecenter.com . They are really onto something special. Most patients that come to them are stage 4 and have been given the bad knews. They have had unbelieveable results even with those advanced patients, getting something close to 70 % in remission.
I was able to get in touch with Lealand McSpadden several years ago when I heard he was in trouble. I hope he doesn't mind me saying this. Leland did take the treatments with positive results. I'm sure if you talked with him he would tell you to give them a chance at helping you. I came aware of them when the developer of the treatment came to me to make some videos of his programs.
I have personally met a couple dozen
people who have benefitted greatly and are living normal lives. My friends web site is www.metabolicresearch.com . Take a look and read his story. His name is Joe Brown. He has been willing to talk in person to all who I have sent to him. The Cancer Hope Clinic is in Reno, Nevada.
They use Joe's technology. The clinic is run by Dr. Forsythe who is an oncologist with great credentials.
. I don't have anything to gain here. If I have personal knowledge of their success and remain silent I
would feel guilty for not saying something
It is worth your time to take a look. I have introduced this info to 4 people who all had good results.
