"Mr. Smooth, Jr." Billy Moyer, Jr. will be one of close to thirty-five drivers competing in the four race "Showdown in the Heartland II" MARS/NCRA late model showdown begining this Thursday night. It all kicks off on Thursday night at 81 Speedway in Wichita. From there it is on to Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa for the first ever event for late models on the quarter mile track. Then on Saturday night it is on to Brill Motor Speedway in Meeker before closing out the weekend of racing at Monett Speedway in Missouri.
A full "B" feature and "A" feature field of late models from at least eight states are expected throughout the four days. Just some of the more familiar names include Jeremy Payne, Terry Phillips, Kelly Boen, Al Purkey, Jack Sullivan, Moyer, Jr., Tony Jackson Jr. and Eric Turner. Will post official press release later.........

The announcer at Creek two weeks ago said the Kenny Wallace would be on hand as well. Just passing along what I heard.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands
in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he
stands at times of challenge and controversy."
Martin Luther King, Jr.
