A well attended picnic was held today in memoriam of Manzanita Speedway. About 150 people including drivers (past & current), car owners, devout fans and ex-employees, swapped stories, viewed pictures, and tipped a few in honor of what was one of the greatest race tracks in the America. The get-together was the brainchild of perrenial Manzanita announcer Windy McDonald and several others. It was a fitting tribute to and remembrance of the beloved race track.
