Wanted to give a tip of the hat to a couple of our ol' Nor Cal buddies who both had pretty good nights on Friday.
Kyle Hirst won his heat race and finished 7th in the A-main last night with the Lucas Oil ASCS National tour at Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas. Tonight the series moves on to Little Rock, Arkansas which is more of a California style track so best of luck to Kyle, Lee Watson and the boys and hoping for another strong night.
Robert Ballou won his heat race and captured the main event victory at Gas City I-69 Speedway in Indiana last night over Scotty Weir, Thomas Meseraull, Brandon Petty, Dave Darland and Shane Cottle.
Also noticed on Hoseheads that Chad Boespflug, who I remember watching run the Bandits & SCRA 360's in Central, CA when GSC would go to Hanford and Tulare a handful of years ago, finished second in the main event to Brady Short at Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon, Indiana last night.
