In my opinion Kraig Kinser's car looks like a low funded local team, anybody else could design a car better than that, really all you need is some red and black swooshes on the top wing!!!

Also Terry McCarl's looks like left over parts from 2 different cars that he put together he should go back to last years car with the silver and black! Or anything else he needs to be planning for next year because it looks like in my opinion this will be his last year in a big game car!

I have not seen either car... but...

Design may not win races BUT - design can sure sell a sponsor and their products. In these times - we really need to have something pleasing for a sponsor. AND ... people need to go after sponsors with

a complete package as to how the sponsors dollars will influence a target audience... on the track and on the road.

I agree with carol 14 that design does have much to do wih sponorship advertising. However, FYI to stefani 0068 that T-Mac has very little input as to the design & paint scheme of the Big Game Treestands #24 car. He is the driver, not the owner & since the owner seems to like the design; he must think it sells treestands& that is the name of the game.

I have to agree with you stefani 0068, both of those cars do look like crap. Terry's looks like it was pieced together from two diffrent paint schemes, and Kraig's isn't all that bad If he had a sponsor not just on the top wing.

Plenty of polished aluminum and less mess looks best. This tribal squiggly stuff everywhere gets old. Sammys TMC was one of the best ever and had nothing but solid paint and letters and numbers. Kraig's car isn't fancy but its far from ugly.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

i agree that if he got rid of the squiggles on the bottom and put quaker state logo there it would be a good car, also cars that just have a solid color and a sponsor do look good.

I think the thing with the 11K is that they are looking for a sponsor to put on the car that they can design the graphics and color scheme around.

IMO, calling a paint scheme ugly is like calling a girl/woman ugly....Everyone has diffferent likes/dislikes.

The only ugly paint scheme that I've ever seen on sprint car was Stevie Smith's RAACE sponsored car a few years back....purple, yellow, white........yechhh.....

But I'm sure that some folks liked it!

I remember someone referring to Stevie Smith's car as an Easter egg.

I think there are a "couple of them" who could spend less on paint jobs and fancy haulers and invest the money in their car! Wink

origopnwhlr, I'm with you. Get an open trailer with a tire rack and put your money in the car... not in the tow rig (especially local guys who don't travel). Okay. They are living in the thing. Still, I can't believe the money in the rigs these days. Amazing how guys used to make in with a van and an open trailer with a lot of storage. I guess the good ole days are long gone. I've heard that even local guys are hauling go-karts to tracks with big enclosed trailers. Unbelievable. (expletive deleted).
