Thank you to everyone that came out to support our opening night. 360 Non-wing racing has been the staple of "Kings" for years and last night you did not disappoint! I am glad we had you there to celebrate our opening night. Great racing all over the track.

Good luck at your next race.

I was really impressed with the way things were run at Kings Speedway last night. For opening night with new owners, everything went smooth and the track was hooked up!! You don't see this at some tracks that have been around for quite a while! Now if I can just get the throttle to quit hanging up and for the brakes to last an entire main event!

Sean Buckley has two great interviews with both Kevin Kierce and Danny Faria over at www.Jackslash.com. Both are well worth the listen and definetely provide the national recognition that these two top California sprint car drivers deserve. Thanks Jackslash!

Can anybody tell me what happened to Wes Gutierez? I see that he qualified third and led the main for a while before finishing 18th.

the wg motorsports team with pilot wes guiterrez took over the lead from rapid davey pombo on lap 10,wes and his moose motorsports management/styles collsion center, drc chassis/tony borello powered sprinter with csi shocks held the lead until lap 17 when an unfortunate incident happened as wes was trying to put steve osborne a lap down.

the 2 cars collided exiting turn 4 and wes had the rf axle folded back as a result of the lr to rf contact, wes kept control and slowed to a stop entering trun one when peter murphy with no where to go glanced off wes and peter went off into the dark end of turn one ending his night also.

wes will be back and ready for action at oildale, please come down and see us at the track.

Thanks Moose. My brother and I are 2 of Wes's biggest fans. I honestly believe that once Wes harnesses his talent he will be one of the finest sprint car drivers in the west. I don't think I'll ever forget his first night at Perris.

Yeah it was ver unfortunate for both drivers. Wes and Peter were getting ready to have quite a battle.

I look forward to April 3rd at Thunderbowl!
