A Sharp Car and a Determined Driver...Tony Bruce Jr.

Jimmy Jones, LIBERAL, KS (March 1st, 2010) – Tony Bruce Jr. and the Bruce Racing Team went into the off-season knowing that they had a great year in 2009. With the highlight of the season being Tony’s back-to-back win of the Short Track Nationals, expectations for another banner year at Bruce Racing are extremely high.

“We have high hopes for 2010, my crew is excited and I am excited to get to race again,” says Tony. The Team will compete in over 70 nights of action in 2010, once again competing for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series championship, as well as select World of Outlaws and regional events.

Over the winter break, a few tweaks and changes were made. Tony talked about what you can expect from the team this season. “The crew, Wayne Priddy and Jacob Wilson, is still the same for this year. For 2010, we really didn’t have many changes on the car. All of the manufacturers are the same, with one exception. This year we switched over to Vortex Wings. Last year, towards the end of the season, we actually tried Vortex Wings and really liked them a lot. So, we went ahead and switched over to them for this season. The service from Vortex is second to none, and we're really excited to have them on the car this year.”

Tony also talked about a few aesthetic changes to his Ryder powered Maxim. “Some other changes that you might notice on the Bruce racing number 18 is we actually have some graphics this year, so that was pretty exciting, you know, not just plain white like we had last year. Another sponsor that we added this year is The Oil Medics. Not only do they provide us with our racing lubricants, rear-end fluids, engine oil, engine degreasers and all sorts of lubrication products, they are also a full service truck repair. So, for all of your truck needs, you can check them on the web at theoilmedics.com.”

The Bruce Racing Team completed a successful run in Florida to start the 2010 campaign with a top 5 finish in the ASCS Regional at Hendry County Speedway in Clewistown and a top 10 finish at the Ronald Laney Memorial Winter Nationals at East Bay Raceway in Tampa. Tony would like to thank Ross VanEck, Zach Calmus and Josh Holt of driverwebsites.com for their hard work and excellent service in the redesign of his website. If you want to get recognized…make an impression on and off the track…driverwebsites.com can get you the respect you deserve.
